Hanxi Changlong Station (Chinese: 汉溪长隆站) is a station of Line 3 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2006. It is located at the underground of the east of Hanxi Dadao (Chinese: 汉溪大道) and Xinguang Express Way (Chinese: 新光快速公路), and the south of Chime-Long Paradise (Chinese: 长隆欢乐世界), Dashi Subdistrict (Chinese: 大石街道), Panyu District. There is a free shuttle bus route connecting the station to and fro Chime-Long Paradise.[1][2][3]
Before the station started operations, it was previously named "Hanxi Station" (Chinese: 汉溪站) and "Changlong Station" (Chinese: 长隆站) successively. The residents nearby were disappointed with the name of "Changlong Station" because they doubted the name only favoured Chime-Long Group, the Chime-Long Paradise's owner and operator. The Guangzhou Municipal Government later approved to change the name to "Hanxi Changlong Station" which favoured both the residents and the enterprise.[4][5]
